Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated monitor to service a federal contract outside the Continental United States. United States Military instructions for the mission in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
- Control access to the facility and related premises.
- Conduct inspections of all secure areas.
- Report all security-related emergencies or any criminal activity within 5 – 15 minutes in accordance with regulations and to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain and submit a daily report with activities performed, messages, events, and incidences to the facility’s external monitoring station/personnel.
- Conduct a 360-degree external walk-around of the facility at least two (2) times per individual transition. During the walk-around, conduct a visual assessment of the property and report any suspicious activity or damage.
- Admit only approved personnel to the facility after normal working hours and weekends.
- Check the Common Access Card (CAC) or United States Military Training Mission badge of anyone who enters the area after normal working hours.
- Observe, document, and report disturbances.
- Report Red Cross message(s) in accordance with unit policy.
- Respond to all requests for emergency assistance regardless of the nature of the emergency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in security monitoring or related field
- Valid U.S. Passport.
- Physical and emotional capability to perform assigned tasks.
- Expertise in operating security monitoring equipment such as CCTV systems and access control alarms.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures with a primary adaptation toward emergency response and security violation reporting.
Compensation:
- $18/hour, eligible for overtime.
- Optional performance bonus at the year’s end
