Job Description
The General Manager will be accountable for:
- Promoting the use of AI and smart technologies to increase business performance and operational efficiency
- Collaborating with administrative heads and business cells to embed technology into core operations
- Budget management for IT and digitalization, guaranteeing value delivery, cost effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals
- Establishing and executing a long-term digital plan that fullfil commercial and legal conditions.
- Formation and implementation of the best level of cybersecurity, data governance, and IT service management practices
- Actively mentoring and cultivating Saudi indigenous talent, emphasizing skill building and succession planning
The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s in computer science, systems, Engineering
- 20+ years of IT and digital leadership affairs, with at least 10 years in leadership roles
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA environments, industrial IT systems, and operational technology integration
- Proven success in leading big, complex IT businesses via transformation and innovation
- Demonstrated experience in talent development, including mentoring Saudi nationals and developing succession pipelines
- Inpenetrable knowledge of digital administration, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks
- It is quite desirable to have prior expertise in the heavy industry, manufacturing and production, or petrochemical sectors.
- Proficiency in digital transformation
- Stakeholder management and change leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Innovative mindset and passion for technology
- An acute awareness of current business trends and advances, as well as the capacity to implement them for the company based in or eager to migrate to Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province
