They also help build a strong safety culture among workers, contractors, and other partners.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibility:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Report directly to the Site Manager and be the key figure to talk to about all HSE issues.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and manage the HSE Management System programs like \u201cRespect &amp; Care\u201d and safety campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all site-specific HSE strategies, plans, and ways are put into action.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage a safe work environment through control and initiatives like IIF (Incident &amp; Injury Free) and R&amp;C (Respect and Care).<\/li>\n<li>Run the R&amp;C culture programs and conduct weekly Leadership Listening Tours.<\/li>\n<li>Take part in scheduled HSE meetings with clients, subcontractors, and consortium partners.<\/li>\n<li>Lead incident reporting and investigations, for example, using the TapRooT method. Keep the Incident Register updated and ensure fixes are made.<\/li>\n<li>Help and guide contractors with HSE best practices and culture improvement programs.<\/li>\n<li>Support emergency plans and responses, including drills and real emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all HSE rules and procedures match JGC\u2019s 9 Life-Saving Rules and are clearly understood by everyone on site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Internal Contacts<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/jobsforhuman.com\">Site Manager<\/a><\/li>\n<li>All Discipline Managers and Supervisors<\/li>\n<li>YOC HSE Group Construction Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>External Contacts<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Client (CPC)<\/li>\n<li>Government Authorities<\/li>\n<li>Consortium Partners<\/li>\n<li>Contractors (e. g. , Bechtel, MRY, HHC)<\/li>\n<li>Subcontractors (e. g. , Wan Chi, Area Energy, LLI)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications &amp; Experience Education<\/h4>\n<p>Degree or diploma in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.<\/p>\n<h4>Certifications<\/h4>\n<p><b>1) NEBOSH<\/b> International Certificate (required)<\/p>\n<p><b>2) NEBOSH<\/b> Diploma or equivalent (preferred)<\/p>\n<p><b>3) TapRooT\u00ae<\/b> or equivalent training for incident investigation.<\/p>\n<h4>Language ability<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pakistan\">Fluent in English<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Mandarin, Japanese, or Bahasa is helpful depending on the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>\u00a0Experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 15 years of total HSE experience<\/li>\n<li>5 to 7 years in a senior HSE position (Manager or Deputy)<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience on large-scale EPC\/EPCM projects<\/li>\n<li>Prior work with JGC Corporation or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to JGC\u2019s systems and policies is highly preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Technical Skills<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Deep knowledge of HSE Management Systems and how to use them<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in risk assessment tools like HAZID, HIRA, JHA, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PTW systems, SIMOPS, and construction safety practices<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of behavioral safety programs like IIF and R&amp;C<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary: The HSE Manager is responsible for holding, updating, and enhancing the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) exercise at the project site.
